Prepare this Shaan-e-Biryani in a traditional way at home and attain the same authentic taste of it. Prepared with rice and mix veggies, this biryani is rich in many nutrients and minerals.

2 cups grained rice(Basmati), 2 tbsp ghee, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 2 large tomatoes chopped, 1 onion sliced, 1 capsicum diced, 1 cup chopped methi leaves, ½ cup green peas, 1/4 cup curd, ½ tsp garam masala, 1 tbsp sliced almonds, salt to taste, ½ tsp black pepper powder, 1/4 cup curd
1. Heat the ghee in a pan and crackle the cumin seeds. Add the onions and tomatoes and saute on a medium flame.
2. Add the capsicum, and saute it. Now add fenugreek leaves and peas and mix well.
3. Add the curds and the garam masala, mix well and cook on a slow flame for 2-3 minutes.
4. Then add rice and water(as required). Cover with lid and cook on a slow flame till the rice gets cooked and all the water gets absorbed.
Serve hot with raita.
