Moong Dal is packed with protein and low carbs, green gram otherwise known as moong dal is one of the best vegetarian superfoods. Moong dal is extremely light and easy to digest. Compared to other dals, moong dal is one of the low carb pulses available. Moong beans are a good source of protein for vegetarians. Healthy Moong Dal Tadka is a delicious side dish that can make your meal tasty and nutritious. It is very easy to prepare in minutes.

Moong dal-1 cup, curry leaves-few, salt-to taste, oil-1 tsp, and water-2 cups
1. Wash moong dal.
2. In a pressure cooker take moong dal, salt and sufficient amount of water.
3. Pressure cook till 2 whistle in medium flame. Keep aside.
4. For tempering heat oil in a ladle and add curry leaves.
Temper the moong dal with it and serve hot with rice.
