Deragong is a healthy dish which is rich in proteins and carbohydrates, which make a necessary boost to your diet.

    Ingredients to make Deragong:

    Tender stalks of the alpinia nigra, 2 eggplants, 2 chopped tomatoes, 2 diced potatoes, ¼ cup garlic paste, 2 to 3 chilies, 2 tbsp cumin powder, 2 tbsp turmeric, salt to taste, 1 bunch coriander leaves

    Steps to make Deragong:

    1. Heat oil. Stir fry the vegetables and spices. Cover and cook till vegetables are done. Add water if needed.

    2. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.

    Serve this dish hot.
