These sandwiches are not only tasty but also have high nutritional values. It is rich in carbohydrates and vitamins, and your kiddo is surely going to love them!

Ingredients: 1/2 finely chopped onion (1 large), 1 clove garlic, minced, 1 tablespoon cooking oil, 1/2 cup diced Chicken (grilled), 1 tablespoon brown mustard, 1 tablespoon apricot preserves, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 2 whole wheat hamburger buns, split and toasted, 4 thin slices red onion (optional)
Steps:
1) In a large skillet, cook onion and garlic in hot oil over medium heat about 4 minutes or until tender.
2)Stir in chicken, mustard, apricot preserves and pepper. Heat through. If necessary, simmer, uncovered, about 5 minutes or until desired consistency.
3) Spoon about 1/2 cup chicken mixture on each bun bottom. Top with red onion if desired. Add bun tops.Tasty new style chicken burger is ready to serve.
These homemade sandwiches are tasty and healthy that you will not resist it.
