Is your child pestering you for something chatpata? Make her this tasteful Bhapaa Aloo dish loaded with carbohydrates, vitamin C, and iron.

Small potatoes boiled and peeled – 200 gm, mustard oil–2 tsp, panchphoron(whole jeera, saunf seeds, fenugreek seeds, black mustard seeds and kalaunji) –½ tsp, mustard paste–½ tsp, hung curd–1 tsp, desiccated coconut paste 3/4 tsp, pinch of turmeric powder, salt–to taste, dash of lime juice, banana leaves
1. In a pan add ½ tsp oil and the panchphoron, and saute for 1 min. Remove from heat and add to potatoes. Toss well.
2. In a bowl mix mustard paste, curd, coconut paste and turmeric powder.
3. Mix the potatoes into the marinade along with salt and lime juice.
4. Place all the potatoes on a steel plate and cover with the banana leaves. Steam for 6-8 minutes and serve hot.
