This activity is the best activity to engage your kiddo for hours and it costs almost nothing. This is a fun activity and it will also help your kid to develop his motor and cognitive skills.
Requisites: Jumbo marshmallows, plastic drinking straws, scissors
Steps:
1. Take plastic drinking straws of a single color.
2. While cutting the straws make sure that the scissor is at an angle so that the straw ends are cut properly.
3. Cut the straws and make different sizes. There should be a group of long, medium and short sized straws.
4. Now set up your building by using these straws and marshmallows.
5. Allow your child to use his imagination skills to build up buildings as tall as he would like. He can go for a single building or more.
6. When all done get ready for the marshmallow treat at the end.
This activity will not only brush up your kid's engineering skills but will also help him to develop his imaginative skills.
