Colorful and creative pasta necklaces will be good time pass and creative activity for your kid.  This activity will allow him to explore different shapes and colors, and also, sort different shaped pastas as per choice.
 
Your toddler will build up focus as well as mind and hand coordination. This activity is apt for the kids who fall under 2-3 years of age group as they are still in the process of building up gross motor skills and cognitive functioning as well.
 
Requisites: Large pasta in different shapes, Zip lock bags, Liquid food colors, Tissue papers, Colourful and thin bottle cleaners, Cloth apron
 
Steps:
 
1) Give your kids apron to wear so that they won’t spoil their clothes while colouring the pasts of different shapes and sizes.
 
2) Give them different shaped dry pasta of various sizes and then let your kids place them equally in a zip lock bags.
 
3) After placing the pasta in zip lock bags, now let your kids pour different food colors to the 4 zip lock bags with pasta in them.
 
4) Encourage your kid to shake all the bags well till they get completely colored.
 
5) Place a tissue paper on a table and let your kids open all the bags one at a time.
 
6) Let them keep these colored pasta on the tissue papers and it will take a day to dry out.
 
7) Rainbow pasta are ready and now give thin bottle cleaner sticks to your kids and let them push different colored pasta through the sticks.
 
8) Secure the ends by twisting them a bit after putting them around the neck. 
 
Your kid will be happy and proud with his colourful creativity.
