This activity is a quick simple memory game that requires no preparation or equipment, perfect for all sorts of occasions when you need to keep your kid occupied, may it be a waiting room, for a train journey etc. This acitivity is a good opportunity to bond with your child, it can be played with all the family members.
Steps:
1. Ask the group to form a circle (adults and children). Ask everyone to think of something that they like to do. Then pick someone to start by telling the group for example, I like to swim. The person to his right will then tell the group what the first person liked and adding what they like to do, for example 'Fred likes to swim, I like to walk'.
2. This continues right around the circle until the last person has to say what everyone likes to do.
3. Other members of the group can join the activity, if anyone falls into difficulty and fails to recall in sequence, then he gets out.
This is a great memory and also improves your child’s social skills. Also, this game helps you to get to know each other’s likes.
