The game of dots and boxes is an activity that will help in development of logical thinking of your child. It is a simple activity that can be carried out anywhere.

1. Draw a grid of dots that are in line and under each other. Basically start with five vertical and five horizontal dots. Call your child and start the game by introducing him with the rules.
2. As an example you must start joining the first two dots, and then ask your child to join another two. You will see your child thinking while joining two dots.
3. The one who completes more squares is the winner.
See your child’s imagination when he finds ways to complete a square by joining dots. Playing this game many times, will enhance your child's logical thinking.
