At this age, your little one is very intrigued by animals and colors. Anything artsy will have your child’s attention. This egg holder made will make your child’s breakfast time more exciting.
Requisites: ½ white chart paper, Crayons or color pencils, Markers, Scissors, Glue
Steps:
1. Take the white chart paper and fold it in the center. Draw a duck on that in a way that it resembles a boat. This helps to balance the duck on the ground.
2. Make sure the design you draw has a square measuring 7 cm in the center.
3. Cut the duck drawn on the folded white chart paper and you will get 2 identical ducks.
4. Place the 2 ducks with the beaks facing each other.
5. Mark the 7 cm square in the center.
6. Apply glue on 3 sides of the square of both the cutouts leaving one side on the top and also apply glue on the other edges of the duck.
7. Once it dries, both the cutouts should be stuck together except the top portion of the square. It will resemble a duck with a pouch.
8. Now your duck egg holder is ready. You can color the duck with colors of your choice, mark the eyes and other parts with the marker.
9. Your colorful egg holder is ready to hold and serve your eggs.
This activity is a fun activity which enhances the creativity of your child and helps in bonding with your child. This egg holder can also be used as a small holder which holds pins and other small stationery. Enjoy this activity with your child.
