Your child at this age will love craft activities. When your child enters school, you should start teaching him advance methods so that his creative mind grows. A pop-up card can be created at home.
Requisites: Few sheets of coloured paper, glue, scissors, colors and tape.
Steps:
1. Cut a rectangular card from one of the sheets.
2. Now take the other coloured sheet and cut two triangular figures from it.
3. You can fold these triangles from the centre in order to form a crease.
4. Fold the rectangular card from the centre and paste the triangles such that it lies at the centre of the card.
This would form a bulging beak-like figure. You can draw eyes and other features to create this bird pop-up card.
Ask your child to practice this on his own. Such cards can be made on special occasions. So, what are you waiting for?
